“There were so many wonderful moments that stand out from our wedding day, but one of the highlights we continue to hear about from our guests was the incredible first dance Ryan choreographed for us. We chose “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” by Elton John, which we felt was a fitting choice for a fabulous gay wedding such as ours, theatrical, emotional, and sentimental all at once. We came into our rehearsals, wondering what Ryan had in store for us, and he managed to do the song justice with a full story behind the movements (lifts included!), maintaining the fun and tugging the heartstrings without making a joke of it. Those weeks leading up to the wedding, both in our sessions with Ryan and our own one-on-one practice, was an unexpected highlight that truly brought my husband and I closer together. Amidst the chaos of wedding prep, this was time that belonged to the two of us, with our fearless leader Ryan leading the way. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.”
